If the water does get in the basement, just move your power supply up high, toss on the old hip waders, and go to town on that trigger.

Floods are scary things. The water often looks somewhat serene, particularly in photos, but there's an awful lot of force behind it. Stay safe.

I know what you are going through. I get a foot of water in the basement every storm of more
than an inch in four hours. More if it is a bigger storm. Had three feet in April. There is a model
railroad down there but it is high enough that it doesn't get wet. The power supplies were under
water, but they seem to be OK. I dried them out with compressed air right away.

They have been saying rain for us the last 2 days, but I haven't seen any yet. It either goes North or South of us. I guess that's good for the time being. They say it's on the way. Just have to wait and see. :)

Hope you and everyone in the area get through without a loss of anything.

In 1996 I lived in Cogan Station just outside of Williamsport PA lost everything I had except my three cats in a flood.
So I hope that no one loses to much with the flooding going on there.

Keep dry and safe Harry I'll say a few prayers for you all.

So far the slot cars are dry and the grill is above water.

We just took a major storm head on. Dog is NOT happy. One of the worst thunderstorms I've been through. I actually unplugged everything in the house stuff was coming so close. Lots of heavy rain too...the burn areas are flooding I'm sure.
