Surgery Thursday AM

I have what is referred to as a porcelain gall bladder. I've known about it since my car accident three years agp but up till now the doctors didn't seem too concerned. But recently I went to a new doctor who informed me that although right now the condition is not harmful a large proportion of people with this condition end up with gall bladder cancer. So he recommended that it be removed. Same day surgery unless there are complications so I should be home tomorrow evening. I'll let you know how things went as soon as I feel like sitting at the computer.

My friend had his removed a few years ago, and he was out the next day. They consider this routine procedure, hence the one day stay. You'll be fine. My friend was drinking cold beer 2 days later. ;)
