Carrera GO motor vs a SCX Compact motor

How is the performance of a Carrera GO motor compared to an SCX Compact motor with a 15 volt transformer?

if you would exchange the motors in my cars, i´m sure that i could not feel any difference while driving them on my wood track.

The main difference I have noticed is that one has a longer shaft then the other, this can sometimes be important when scratch building; knowing which one will fit.
