thanks guys
Bro, yes they have had windows as of late and will be molded that way and some of the older molds will be fitted with a male mold part.
Hornet most of the pics i have of the broadspeed have that simple bar grille. i need to put in the fog lamps. if you have a different pic i would like to see the variation. so far this is all i have seen

It isn't so much the grille slats, as the surround.
Here's a Mk 1 mini (minus the spotlights). See the lower angles where the chrome trim curves outwards, giving a curly moustache appearance.

Here's a Rover Mini. See the hard angles at the lower edges, and the heavier appearance of the surround.

Sorry if you think this is nit-picking.It's not meant to be. It's just that you've made such a good job of the back end.

hey guys
ok so i am getting the grille thing sorted out. i now know the difference in mki, ii, and iii minis. Lloyd is kind enough to send me the correct one so i can have a proper grille, so the broadspeed will be on hold untill then. today this little jewell was in the box so i will get started on molding it. as you can see Peters chassis is a perfct fit so this one shouldnt be too difficult.

That Hornet looks good enough to eat!

If you see one in 1/32 please let me know. Pendle's used to have them, but they've sold out.

hey guys
finally back to work on some projects. a big thanks to Lloyd for supplying some much needed parts. she now has the appropriate grille and some mini mini lites which I will copy and use as inserts for the turned rims. started on the back bumper and I will use cast copies of the Hornet tail lights as they are almost identical. the Hornet is ready for the rubber, just waiting on this one to mold them both. I get all this done and I will be ready for a mini proxy. maybe I can actually get it going. any takers?

Looking very nice Mickey, not easy to get the Mk1 grille to fit.

Mini proxy, bring it on! I will host a round if required.

Peter, Lloyd I don't even want to try to get a mini proxy together until I know my track is ready. the move is finished so it should go quickly now. I am looking forward to getting it together. I will make sure it gets posted in the proxy forum this time and stay on top of it. there are NO water lines anywhere near my track now so no ugly surprises. taking a consensus, strictly mini or mini based cars? broadspeed, marcos, hornet, Monaco, sanderson etc...
Hornet thank you, I am ready to drive them both
I have also started on the Monaco

you´re amazing, Mickey!
The GT already looked great, but the Monaco is awesome! I really like it! looking forward to see more progress!
for the Mini proxy - i would say allow all types of Minis, also the new ones. Those could fill the field. I know that this would be a point of discussion, but there could be a seperate rating. Run all of them and make 2 classes for the points.

Thank you Peter. I definitely agree. Any mini based car would give us a bigger field.

Why make 2 classes when there is unlikely to be any difference in performance between old and new mini scratchbuilds, but maybe a separate RTR class would be in order?
