Not at all, definitely the other way round, that's why RTRs need their own class!

so what? if anyone wants to enter a RTR and thinks that it can be tuned faster than a scratchbuild why not run it in the same class?

Its all good Peter :lol: My experience is limited to a couple of carreras and 4 scx cudas. even after all the tuning tricks I know my scratchbuilt t/a cars are still faster than the rtr scx cars and that's with a cheap shack motor. so I probably wouldn't be a good judge between scratch and rtr, but I will say throw them all in and see what comes out on top. after all the tuning and swapping there isn't much rtr left besides body and maybe chassis is there? I don't know. just make it an all out full blown unlimited and that should cover the whole thing. that's basically what will happen when they start chuckin out parts to tune them isn't it. two of my cudas I gutted all but the body and axles/rims so I don't think they are rtr anymore. when we kick it off we can see what the masses have to say

Many thanks for doing this one. I´ve never heard about a Mini Monaco before, but having seen it, it´s the most beautifull variant i´ve ever seen. Great!

I am in no hurry Peter, just a little impatient to drive them :D . meanwhile in my quest for all things Mini as of late, here ya go. that nose was slated to go on the broadspeed, :o :shock: but broadspeed went out of biz before they could get it together, so it was then marketed as a scorpion mini. okay not the most attractive thing I have ever seen, but I have to do one on a broad to see what had possessed them :violence-smack:

the broadspeed and the hornet are comfortably resting in the silicone bath and the first set of rims have been turned and set screwed. the inserts and tires will get the silicone when I pour the plugs and hopefully the Monaco by then.
