6 wheelers - more than just Tyrrells!!

I know DR will like this, he likes 6 wheelers -
I have been thinking about odd and unusual F1 cars recently and of course the 6 wheel Tyrrell came to mind.

Also of course the 6 wheel March

But I didn't realise that there were others
Such as the Williams FW07D

And Williams FW08B

And Finally the 312T6 Ferrari with 2 smaller wheels side by side at the rear

The Tyrrell was the only one to have raced in anger, the March was never developed through lack of money, Ferrari were just messing about looking for a bit of publicity, the FW07D was a test hack to develop the FW08B which apparently in testing was quite a weapon , but killed off when the FIA suddenly banned anything with more than 4 wheels.
Just a bit of useless info that I found on the net, at least they all looked different, nowadays I reckon if you painted the current crop of F1's black, the teams would be battling to pick out their own cars.

Yeah, David and I have actually competed to buy 6 wheelers in the past. We deal with our addiction. I have one goofy looking one I have been trying to indentify for years, guess who I'm going to show it to when I finally get to it?

The FIA (French for Intrinsic A__holes), along with Max&Bernie, Inc. really screwed the pooch when they forced everybody to be the same, particularly the V-8 rule, and making every car a rolling gas tank. They betray the very essence of F-1 again and again, ever since.

Funny guy. Those would make an interesting slot car, though.

No, this is a Tyrrell, but it has been shortened and has a crazy attempted slot car appearance. The difference in size from the front tires to the back has been exagerrated. Its really a toy of some sort, more of an attempted slot car than a slot car, but the markings on the parts are so sparce there's no way I've found to figure out where this thing acme from. It was in a box of old slot car stuff I bought years ago.

Maurizio from slot it would know something about it, he has some crazy 6 wheel slot cars that he's collected over the years, He posts here occasionally.

But hows this Bad Boy, don't know much about it but it seems that people have
been coming up with the same "innovations" for decades.
