HRW 1/32 Stocker Series Notes

I'm planning on building a routed track in my shop for racing 1/43rd and 1/32nd oval cars on . I'm in the process of looking at the tracks on this post for ideas . Through this search I ran across this older post and had to resurrect it for some info .

Where did you get the odd ball 1/32nd scale bodies like the 55 Buick , 51 Caddy and 49 Ford ? These are great looking bomber cars .

What happened to this series ? Are you still running them ?

Are scratch chassis used ?

What motors etc ?

The odd ball cars are older Revell Snap Tite kits or ones that have been re-popped in resin.

We are still building them. I just finished a RMS Cougar.

Yes, any chassis will work. We are not using a lot of rules. But you would make your own for your home track of course, just what ever would work for you.

We chose a 18K to 20K motor range. Stock Scalextric, Carrera, H&R Hawk, etc. We try and use similar gear ratios too.

Chris Agee (cagee13 on HRW) was making the '51 Cadillac. I don't know if he still is or not, but he has several of them floating around in this part of the world.

the 49 Ford is a Lyndberg 1\32 but its more like 1\36 I did put a pioneer chassis under it, had to move the front axle a little but thats easy
