Very nice photos. But they send a chill up my spine. Unfortunately our kids spend 12 years learning how to read text critically, but virtually no time is spent learning how to read and interpret pictures. Those of you with children or grandchildren in grades 1 through 12, ask them how many classes they have had in visual literacy. Reading is in serious decline and photographs and other images are bombarding us. Because of our DNA, we want to believe what we see. Without the skills to really look at images critically we can be (and are) fooled by what we see, thinking it is true and factual.
