I "finally" got my hands on a donor Falcon chassis - was lucky enough to stumble on a eBay-er who was offering a new in package - twin pack?!? - never saw them offered that way before?
So now I finally have my #9 XB Falcon - and have one to convert! :D
Plan to start on mine after the holiday if all goes well... :)

(Have to find the thread on paint prep for Resin bodies...)

Todd - not sure what resin release Ray uses, but I recommend Wesley's Bleech White. Cleans off anything. I also recommend a quick rub with 0000 steel wool to give the primer something to bite into.

Can't wait to see your guys' builds...not a big movie car guy, but this is a very cool car.

As for the 2-pack of Falcons..I almost bit on that one...glad you got it.

Appreciate the tips on using the Wesley's - I had forgotten about that.
(I know that just soap and water didn't cut in on my autograss Mini body - as I ended up with fish eyes in it).

Have the Wesley's - now just have to see if I have any 0000 wool.... :)

Well here she is all done, sorry about the blurry picture . Had to use the phone because the cameras U/S.
The picture doesn't do the car justice, it was a great kit and easy to make, just had to trim the chassis a bit.

Can anyone pic the blooper (it's not Mel Gibsons Head) that needs to be rectified later.
I had to use some exhausts from the scrapbox, theres the hint.
