We've moved the position of the pickup 0.2mm up (recessed) and carved a small plane where the braids rotate on the chassis of the car, to compensate for braid thickness. It improves handling significantly as the front end of the car sits lower on the track.

The Ford GT has to be, without a doubt, positively, absolutely, the most beautiful body design of all times. It is STILL great looking and reeks of "avante guarde", what, nearly 50 years later???

Admire Ferrari as I do, IF it came down to it and I had the money... I would prefer a Ford GT over a Ferrari (or especially over a Lamborghina).

Its amazing that slotit keeps tweaking there cars with almost every release. Always improving there product. I find it truly amazing if they are tweaking with a tolerance like 0.2mm. DO you know how small 0.2mm is? One would think as a mass produced car there would be more than 0.2mm difference from one car to the next.

I love the colour. I will say that the GT's I have with the new pick up are faster on the track than the older models. Looks like I'm going to have another GT in my stable.

Yes Greg, amazing indeed.

These cars are some of the nicest models in my stable. Just smooth as you expect and overall fun to drive.

The only drawback has been my Fly collection that has been ignored. I might take one and tune it up just for the challenge of it.
