Yes, as the dark months are here there is more time to work on the slot cars. This weekend I put some new Paul Gage tires (XPG) on the BlackArrow DBR 9. It is like a new car!. I also trued the wheels and glued and trued the factory rubber on the little, green MGA. That is about all that is needed to make that car a delight to drive. I have been rebuilding my track for about six months and finally have it where it can be driven hard. There are lots of little details to to attend to, but I keep driving my cars and can't get any other work done.

Went back to work on an OLD project I've had sitting around forever, a 1:43 Heller kit, the Peugeot 905. Kind of tough to convert it into a slot car, lots of problems to solve. I'd bought a Ranch Design chassis for it, and I don't think it's going to work. So, I've decided to go with the original model chassis from the kit, and I'm modifying a 1:32 axle carrier to integrate with the chassis. Might turn out to be a big hunk of crap. lol
