Trackcrew has been slacking a little lately. Some styropor from the noise protection in the ceiling has fallen down, through the holes made for the drying machines after the broken water pipe. Track below looked like after a hailstorm. Hail balls the size of footballs polluting the track already caused some serious crashes in an area where it´s normally safe for the bystanders.
After setting the trackcrew with some bribe to the place, they cleared it and the race could start:

Track is cleared, grip level has been up to very high level, some cars already cornering on 2 wheels. Driver is equipped with more than enough Espresso and Mark Knopfler is singing about the Speedway in Nazareth ...

small, narrow and way to much play in the axles
a nicely detailed small car, quite funny after i found the rythm of it.
The left rear tire decided at the end of the race that it can leave it´s place, wanting to show that tire glueing makes sense after all.
The little car lives permanently on the edge of a barrel roll, a roll cage would suite the driver ;)

The guide is sitting high up in the chassis, way too much play in the front axle and untrue front tires.
The sprite likes to jump out of the slot, but it is really nicely detailed, driver figure and roll cage are really nicely done. Very quite gears and awesome end speed, good brakes. This car really has some potential, but nees a little work on the front end.
Nice little car with good fun factor.

After a small drop of oil in the rear end, this heavy car (diecast!) becomes much quieter. Unsealed front tires add additional riot to the front end in the curves.
It´s really fascinating that all those glue points and soldering points are holding together. In fast corners, this car is really quiet, but as soon as slow speed turn comes in sight, it begans to jump and vibrate violently. Quite good to drive, but i can´t figure out why it´s behaving like this in slow turns.
Looks nice for a ghost car without a driver figure.

A nice and good running car, very quiet, only the singing of the gears is audible. Needs much attention in slow speed corners, but absolutely stable in fast corners. The front right tires is a little in the air, maybe this is causing the handling problem. Or a little too much on the front tires? In the last tight right corner this little car was on 2 wheels minimum 10 times.
It loved lane 3, wonderfull constant laptimes, looks like it the combination of turns way better than on lane 1.

May i keep the camaro? Please!
Quiet, powerfull, great handling.
The printed chassis and the swinging body mounts seem to work awesome, even with powerfull Fyrebox-1 motor. Also the mostly not so quiet Ranch gears are impressively quiet.
Paint and decals are perfect. One of the nicest cars i´ve ever been allowed to drive! Handling like a dream!

A fantastic car to drive, takes much pressure without even blinking. Wonderfully constant to drive. Directly compared to the powerfull Fyrebox-1 motor, this motor seems to be a little weak and geared way longer. The Camaro gets its speed in the corners, center of gravity being way lower than in Marc´s Camaro. Great to drive and really fast.
Great handling car and really fun to drive.

Running quiet and being heavy. Lost the wing at the end of the training session, sorry. Also the windshield came off after trying to enter turn 1 with too much speed. But no problem for some really fast laps. Being heavy the car is not so easy to judge and not easy to get constant speed out of it. Needs serious concentration.
In heat2 on lane 3 suddenly there was a scraping sound. A short inspection revealed a slipped crown gear. Pushed it back into position and off we go again. Sadly, 4 laps later, the crown slipped again. The track crew towed the car in the pits and the mechanics crew decided to try to end the race with a little less speed and reduced power. Without being pushed to the limit, the Mercedes came throught the 2nd half of the race.
Now an owner´s decision is necessary how the handle the slipped crown problem for the next race.

not as quiet as the other cars, maybe not as nice as the others, but fast. Reacting very direct to the controller input. Drives like being glued to the track. Very light.
I´m satisfied with the driving of this one :)
Thanks for letting me drive this cars, gentleman, it has been a real pleasure! Congrats to the podium!
cheers,
