I have the Renown, BNIB.

I bought it when I had a track at home and then moved house and sold the track.

I must agree that I haven't seen many comments or enthusiasm for these.

Mr Mosetti is well known for his 1/24 chassis' though.

I have one, signed by Mr Moseti himself. It was a prize from a photo competition by Pendles. Not run it much, because it's not my sort of thing and it'd tear it's wing off on my rocks. But I'd put it right up there with anything NSR and Slot.it have to offer.

Glad you mentioned it, this is a car I need to dig out again. Always enjoyed running this one, though, like Harry said, it doesn't run as fast as this car should be capable of. Still, it's a very enjoyable drive for me. Some people don't like it because they have to walk on eggshells a bit (tires), but I like that kind of drive.

A couple years ago, we raced these in a 12 hour enduro up in Montreal. All 4 cars were raced hard, and they held up very well. No broken rear wings.
The setscrews to hold wheels and adjust front axle height were junk, but these are easily replaced (well, for me it was).
They are on par with Slot.It Group C cars with some tuning and a change to your favorite brand of tires.

Yes, the wing struts are flexible, but they will still tear if the wing is hooked in something like a rock. No spare with mine. The chassis allows for a lot of adjustability. Alloys on rear. And came with a second motor pod for anglewinder setup. Of course the changeover would require gear replacement (not included).
