Got a couple of my old cars back.

When I took a break from the hobby years ago I sold everything. All cars, spare parts etc.

I'm in the middle of building a new routed track and I've been buying some new and used cars here and there.
While cruising the buy/sell on another forum I found a group of 'bombers' for sale and 2 of my cars were in the lot.
Unfortunately they had sold minutes earlier. I sent a message to the winner and he replied that he'd be glad to defer to me
Now if I could only track down my street stock Camaro, Mustang and Cougar I'd be all set for oval battling again.

The purple Ford and the white Plymouth are the cars.. The still say 'turbokev' for the drivers name :)

Thanks again Wayne.. very nice gesture, I sure do appreciate you letting me get them~

Here's the other street stockers I'd like to find..

Cougar.. Reinecke resin..think it says Epping Auto Salvage on the trunk

Camaro.. the light blue #7 with the white roof stripe.. also a Reinecke resin

Image

Mustang.. can't find a picture but it was also an Artin chassis with a notchback 65ish Mustang Smith Scale Speedway body on it.
It was white with orange stripes..

I remember the light blue Camaro.

I tried buying it off of you years ago when you had it for sale but someone beat me to it.

For the life of me I can't remember who it was?

The bombers were a fun series of cars when everyone was building them back then when the snap tite kits were cheap and the artin chassis were plentiful.....

Boy how times have changed......

Your cougar reminds me of the old aurora t-jet.

Very cool!
