I'll be pulling for the 1st choice. These wire chassis intrigue me no end. I would like to build 1 some day but that day is far in the future.

I have not done a chassis yet like yours or some that I saw posted in this forum made out of brass or copper wires. My scratch built chassis are mostly made of aluminum. I would like to see yours finished so I can learn from it. Keep us posted of your progress.

let me know if it runs better than a plastic chassis in the end, so i vote for sending it to a proxy, too :D :D :D

I would take my brass chassis over a plastic one any day. The weight is almost perfect for these little cars. And it doesn't require the elaborate set up the larger scales use.

I have been using brass sheet chassis in proxies for some time, but this is just a bit of retro fun just to have a go at a jail door in 1/43. I have no idea how it will run but look forward to finding out.

It`ll be alright ,we need more people trying different stuff and creating for this scale,tha more everyone trys the more 1/43 gets noticed and thats what it needs,just to show the manufacturers what can be done!
