I actually prefer this livery to the #98 car..

Another one that I like and I am currently looking for decals for to convert a white kit over to is this one:

Not sure if that one will come down the line from Scalextric - but like the looks of it, so I am hoping to turn a white kit into one... :)

I was going to do the black car, but now they are going to do it, I think I'll do the Alan Moffat green car AND the #48 in your link. I need another white kit... Man, I'm gonna have 4 Cougars, the car I decided nobody but me and Reinecke wanted years ago. What a hobby!!!!

I like the look of the Alan Moffat car too - that was one that I was going to look at as an alternate if I can't find decals for the #48. :)

I sent an email to http://www.slotcars4u.net/ yesterday to see if they can provide the #48 decals. (may not hurt the cause if there are others emailing them looking for the same set as well!) ;)

I just started tearing the "white" kit down today to start the prep work to get it set for the silver base coat. I am thinking it will look pretty sharp when done as that color shows off the lines nicely. And since that car wasn't one of the ones that was originally campaigned - I doubt it would ever be one that we would see from Scalextric...

But yeah - it's not just you that loves the that Scalexctric released the Cougars! :D :D :D
