Did you grind it out first? I have one of those Highway 61 Darts and the back end is a solid block of resin. Very heavy, cant run very well?!

Highway 61 back seat to the window should come out be carful the car is fragile when i did some granding it smiled like fiber glass it ran real good on the track when I gave it a test run

I had to to take a little of the side Do u see arrows I had to grand I had to cut the back axles all made the chassis fit in side the body of car the way the way it is shaped it fit the car I had to trim he the magnet bog flat so the wheels would roll

Mike he`s talking about the big hunk by the front and back bumpers,the HIGHWAY 61 CARS are great lookers but WAY TO HEAVY,I had one down at POSSUM HOLLAR and it was a dog,not because it didn`t have the right stuff but because it was to heavy! get out your grinder and put the GT on a diet! :lol: :lol:

Well ol buddy its purdy but it ain`t competitive,I bought 2 of them,one is setting up on the "SHELF OF SHAME"[b][i][/i][/b]and the other one is down at 43MOTORSPORTS being used as a mold,and tha only way I`ll put one back on the track is if MICK"THA RESINATOR" is able to put it on a diet where it`ll be COMPETITIVE! end of story...night night!

Looking good Mike. I love those old Dodge Darts. I had a white 69 at one time. [318 V8 with an aftermarket 4brl intake and Holley carb]. Fun car.
