yep I agree I love the Vanquish cars as well and could own more than I do

maybe they designed and built the differential then fitted the car around it hence why they came out at anything but 1/32 scale :)

Hah! That's as good an explanation as I have ever heard for it. That strange scale after the market had long ago accepted and standardized in scales? Then Ninco did the same dumb thing just few years later with their ill-fated "1/28th for no good reason" idea!

Its kind of a dark humour idea, but we actually could do a topic about bad ideas that are associated with particular manufacturers, too. PinkCar's Arian-mobile comes to mind. Famous race cars done in street livery only, incomplete research on body shape and details, bizarre special editions, all kinds of stuff has happened over the years.

Scalex's harness racing set. Scalex's steeplechase set. Scalex's velodrome set. Scalex's pod racing set. Scalex Start. Is that enough that we can call dumb set ideas a Scalex signature?
