Fast, you are partially right about the comparison to Mustangs, but you forget that the stupid era of Mustangs was in the middle and late 1970s. The '69-'73 Mustangs were fine, though the large bodied ones were never a favorite of mine.

There were some interesting street cars done with old Mavericks. But it was the original "Too Much is Too Far" car. The frame was so light that they had to shore it up to drop a big V-8 into it. The entire front suspension had to be scrapped, too, for a big engine. They had all kinds of crazy things done to them over the years, massive drag rear ends, etc.

Here's what I'm working on. It came with other wheels but they clearly would not work so I had to use these BRM's until I find something better. For size ref. it's 3.5inX5.5in

Yes, do that. It's something total different. As you would expect, I can't wait to finish tuning it so I can get to the fun of painting it. Sadly, for the task of painting, a couple buddies and I are headed to Snowshoe.:occasion-snowman: It would be great to find a shop along the way but I doubt that would happen.

Working on some plastic test strips for window tint.
I got 5 different colours of DECOR ART glass stain bottles from the dollar store,
and have applied all the colours and it's kind of thick like nail polish,so i used the tip and applied droplets and brushed it out. Also working on some of the stuff that came from the VODOO sale.

Gonna dig (or drive, if I'm lucky) the old man's Impala out of a snowbank this afternoon, once the sun gets over to that side of his house.
That'll be the last of the motor vehicle excavations, for this storm anyway.
Even though I'm not gonna let him drive around in this mess yet, he'll feel better about it!
The all wheel drive on my Saturn Vue is really helping out gettin' the old folks around for their MD appointments, supermarket, ect.
Plus, I can still get around at night for some slot car action!
Speaking of digging out, I'm still diggin' in the basement (kinda nippy down there) for more cool stuff that I can talk myself into parting with,
then pack it up and bring with me to my vendor booth at the Super Bowl Slot Car Show. :>)
