I have a Skyline GTR kit from a later model year 1/32 kit that keeps sitting on my shelf, can't think of another Skyline GTR scratch build being posted.

This could be the motivation I need.

Have never watched a race these participated in, but hooked on the looks.

Fun that you have a pair, and they look fantastic on the track!!

Great job, James. I think I have an incomplete kit for the Skyline I never got around to messing with. Its pretty old. It looked like something over my head at the time.

I have the 1997 version of the GTR, the pioneer chassis fits perfect with no alterations all needed!

Have nothing to race against it, but just like the lines of the car.

Sitting in the back lot when the Boyz get some time to work on it!!

DR… Thanks, I was not aware of this car until I saw these models on ebay, I think they are a cool little car. As far as thirsty I'd recommend drinking anything but Jager, :lol: . I love the livery…the drink, not so much.

Dundee - I'd love to see what the Boyz would come up with.. you could always get a 2nd one and race them against each other! I like those bodies styles as well, good to know about the Pioneer match. I presume it's a mustang chassis??

Waay - is yours a 71' as well?

I'd like to see more of these, just to see what folks come up with.
I thought I'd be done at two since the Carrera Capri's were becoming scarce, but I see Carrera has announced at least 1 new livery for this year. These came in at under $50 each, so the price point is in line with many RTR's and makes it possible to do another. I would like one of the KPG's in the 'standard' race livery. And I'd like to do one up for Dad.

Yes it is the mustang chassis, and it is a "perfect fit", like designed for it!!

Got a T/A Camaro and 56 Ford Oval to work on, then the Boyz tell me the Skyline is then next.
