Interesting design. Plexiglass for the walls?

Nice! Is that surface painted or is it laminate?

VERY nice track! I priced laminate for a drag track, the laminate cost as much as the 4X8 MDF

Hej Dor!!!

Great to see the slot car scene happening in the University City :)

Excellent track and great to see the 1/24 Scale Auto cars in action!

Cheers,

Hi.
Glad you like the track. Well it's fast, I'm down to 5.1 s with scale auto porsche and it is one thousand lot faster than I run with 917k cars are significantly more expensive than Scale Auto cars. The track is painted with two component paint. And we've built it so that the outer edges of the track is 16cm from the outer tracks.
Therefore, to be able to pass cars that go off and end up in
walls. yes we use plexiglass for the sides of the track.
This is our fourth track that has been built here in Umeå since the 60s. So we have a long history with the old slot racing riders here from northern Sweden. Two blue king we have had and a homemade 6 laine tracks
and that we have now built.

regards

...Good on ya Kurt!!! :P

Christer lives in one of the nicest places on earth (If you like the cold), the Swedes up in the north are also a very resourceful group of individuals....

....Not only do they (quite obviously) make great slot car tracks and race 1/24 Scale Auto cars, they can shoot too!!! I know some members of the "Svenska Bankskytte Forbundet" (Swedish Benchrest Shooters Association) that are among the worlds elite in their chosen discipline. They are extremely good gunsmiths as well.....

Cheers,

Rupert.
