Thanks Dave. Your old track turned out pretty good so far. I debated on painting lane colors but decided to in case I had smaller kids racing. I can't wait to get the walls up in the corners and then the fencing around all of it. My folks get here tomorrow and he is bringing pics of the announcer's tower so I can build that and then need to get the sign done. Eventually, I will put up some lights so I can do some Sunday night racing like the good ol days.

really good looking, great job.....if you want to add another touch, overspray the lower 90% of the fences, then before its dry take a Q-tip and wipe the paint in a downward direction to replicate the track crew using a shovel to clear the dirt from the fencing so the drivers can get better depth perception on running into the corner. Should be more in 1 and 3 and to a lesser extent in 2 and 4. Just a suggestion.

You mentioned 1/43rd scale cars . What scales are you going to run when finished ?

Gonegonzo, I will run mostly 1/32 cars on this track. I am also putting together two 1/24 stockcars that I am going to try on this track but not sure how that is going to work out.

Looking good. Nice job on all of it so far. I have revel track also and the 1/24th cars will work if you run them in alternate lanes. They will work next to each other but the lanes are really too close together to work for the 1/24th cars.
