Landscaping Time

Hey All,
I've been putting some time into the Holly Oak Raceway this weekend.
I completely neglected my responsibities to do some work on the track.
Added: grass flocking, gravel, small bushes, walls, house construction, wrecked car, paint and a Horizon Services Van (static model). My wife works for the HVAC company and a couple of their Techs have asked why they don't see one of their vans on the track, so...
I would have done more, but I ran out of time. I thought I would get an extra hour this weekend but it flew by nonetheless.

The house being constructed is awesome, i think this is the first time i see this as a scenery on a slotcartrack - simply great!

Also the cork barriers are really nice!

The overgrown, rusty tuner car is my favorite!

Looks wonderful! I too like the house under construction. BTW, if you have a bandsaw you can cut the blue foam insulation very thin (not sure if thin enough for this) and be able to make a pile of blue insulation beside it. The bandsaw makes a very nice surface with the proper blade.

Thanks for the kind words!
@ ddyke- cool idea. Now I have to fix my band saw...
@ Peter- best use for one of the many "Tuner" bodies I have. I might start a wreckage yard...
@ Rex- I'll see what I have in the vault for "before" shots.
I still have more to do. 2 bare areas need to be addressed, background behind buildings need development and small details throughout.
Did anyone catch the pile of dirt with the shovel in it? It's kind of small (in 3 pic - front of house construction) The pile is coffee grounds, some kind of weird cat litter I ground up, scraps of balsa, foam. I'll have to be careful when vacing the track... The shovel is made from wire and thin wood, then painted. It was too fun, I had to do it.
I think I need people, too.

the shovel is barely visible, Greg. But the heap of dirt looks soft - great if the tail swings out into it ;) i want to see an action shot with the tail just swinging out and lifting up a pile of dirt into the air :D
