Nice car and I LOVE the color!

My only nit...Detroit didn't "mass" produce race cars in my opinion. Even then, these beasts were not exactly stock...

What ??? So all Gen 2 Camaros weren't the same as this, well now I'm just disappointed. :doh:

Just kidding, when you really start to look into these Trans Am cars, they were pretty Brutal Beasts, they must have been an absolute handful.
Between Trans Am and Can Am you guys really had some of the Meanest race cars on the planet.
It's so great that you guys can rock up to a historic meeting and see and hear capacity fields of these things. If I ever get over there that's going to be a "must do".

I'll stick it onto my bucket list.

3. Go to Cass with Bibster.
4. Pay off Mortgage in order to accomplish 1,2 and 3

Stock?? I dont think so. :lol: You need to read some of the tricks that Roger Penske used to get up to with his Camaros and Javelins. And the Ford boys werent too much better. Four special race tyres filled with water, then rolled onto the weight scales. Yep meets min weight. Wheeled off and then the tyres were swapped over.

Mark Donahue's Camaro was 200 pounds underweight compared to his team mates car. They would simply swap over the peel and stick racing numbers on the #15 and #16 cars and then wheel the same car over to the weigh scales twice. Took Ford half a season to figure that one out.

Ahhh those were the day.
