SRC!

My long awaited package from MiniGrid arrived today. The had an awesome sale on SRC products a couple of weeks ago and I couldn't resist picking up my 2nd and 3rd Capri along with my 1st Alfa.

The yellow/green Capri is a "limited edition" color scheme and depicts the car driven by Andy Rouse in the Silverstone Tourist Trophy.

The blue capri is the Jackie Stewart/Cevert car from Paul Ricard 6hr in 1972

The Alfa finished first at Monza in 1975.

I just love the look of these Capris and the Alfa is a jewel as well. SRC is turning out cars worthy of the Fly heritage. Looking at these model race cars reminds me of how I felt when I first held a Fly Ferrari 512s or the Sunocco Lola T70 for the first time.

Perhaps. There are plenty out there still to be had. Does anyone have the full collection?

I have the complete collection including all the specials. Multiples of some, and I'll admit I ran a rtv mold after I heard they were discontinued! As well as all the Carerra releases, and the Fly and Racer Sideways Group 5 issues and the old Scalextric MKIII.

But then again, I drive a 1:1 MK 1, and have three MK1's in the driveway!
