analog car on scalextric digital track w/4 car power base

So I am pretty new to the new kind of digital slot car racing. I just purchased a scalextric digital race line track and love it. All my cars I have are digital or I made them digital with the chip. But I have one car that I bought off of ebay that will not work and I'm not sure why. It's a Sideways slot.it Riley DP car. Its not digital but my track says analog cars should still work. All it does it buzz when I put it on the track and will not move. Any idea what the compatibility issue could be?

???? You will need to chip the car. Does the car work when you connect it directly to 12V supply? Im sure some more knowlegable digital persons will chip in and help but I thought that 12V was always present on a digital track and that the chip decoded a signal that then supplied a PWM 12V to the motor.

You need to install a scalextric chip . You cant run anolog on digital tracks. You can only run digitsl on snolog tracks. Add a chip you should be fine
