Humpy Holdens! I love those old things. If I could get my hands on one here, I'd custom restore that booger and drive it forever. Nice small block Chevy, the most insanely luxurious interior (outrageously so, given what a Holden FJ really was).
The Acropolis Rally was the most punishing of all, including the East African Safari Rally, because it was almost entirely run on sharp edged white marble roads that actually chopped tires so badly that if you got out of shape you could lose all four at once, with chunks of tread gone. I remember the articles in Road & Track in the 50s and 60s, with pictures of the tire carnage.
