Reminds me of Rocky's road course track when it was new (he's a master builder). Man, I miss that track.

Tony, it's a challenge and it makes it fun. You have to check up fast there. Some cool wrecks though when you don't.

That little "jog" in the corner is a surprise too. You have to behave there :)

Great looking track! I love that little wiggle in the corner, what a great idea. That has to be a challenge to negotiate at speed. I know this may sound crazy to some, now that I have a basement, but I miss my garage tracks. BTW the way if you want timing for the track I know a guy that has a Carlson Harness (new) for a three lane track. Jim

Thanks Harry, I am really happy with how the track turned out. The track was routed by TechmanPhil and his trusty sidekick Father Bob. Phil has routed a number of home tracks in the area including Norb’s oval. The track is based on the plans for Suzuki in the Slot Car Bible. The issue we ran into is the book says the plans are for a 16 x 4 table but they are really for a table closer to a 20’ so we needed to make some changes.
The squeeze can be tough, but if you don’t try plowing through it makes you drive the turn. If you go too fast you will leave some paint on the wall.
The track is on rollers so I can move it to the back of the garage and pull both my cars in. It is heavy enough that even if you bump it it doesn't really move. This is a double edge sword because it ends up being stored more than being used. This last summer, my son was able to get an internship in Decatur and took my car. The track stayed up all the time and it was a lot of fun to just go out and run on it anytime.
