Just back from a 5 day road trip..........

........and you guys didn't even notice I was missing!
Took a trip down to see her Son, DIL and the Grandkids before he deploys again. Only had 5 days to work with so did the "all in one day drive" thing. At our age.....NEVER AGAIN! We'll split into 2 days next time. 14 hours from NE Indiana to just SW of Warm Springs, Ga. On the plus side it was a great visit, got to see the 9 month old Grandson for the first time and got to babysit the 3 year old Granddaughter for a whole morning (I now know where all of the kiddy playgrounds in the local area are). By the time we got home last night we had rolled up 1750 miles on the old Grand Marquis. Wasn't able to keep up on the HRW goings on because they don't have great internet service. Fun trip but glad to be home (even if I am at work).

Only kidding. Welcome back to home base. Time spent with family is never wasted, but gosh it can be exhausting.
