This afternoons project.

Postby GENERAL MY WAY » Mon May 26, 2014 6:18 pm

We made a side table for the Boss's chair this afternoon. Before anyone starts, I will be the first to say no it is not fancy or correct in every way. But is suits us just fine simple and custom made to fit our needs.

Fits the space and does the job. And it looks good. What's not to like?

I would be pretty darn proud of that piece of furniture!!

And the added bonus you built it, doesn't get any better than that!!

I am surprised that it doesn't have an HO scale oval routed in the top of it!

Nothing like crafting your own furniture, as you can build it to your specifications for exactly what you need. Very neat table. :)

That looks great! Wish I could do wood projects like that. They never seem to work out for me....

Looks very good to me.

Simple , no fuss, functional. Big stores charge through the nose for furniture like that.

Hey that's exactly what I need, room for a lamp, my specs, coffee cup and a slotcar or two, oh yes a laptop to get on hrw and right at arms length. It's perfect.

I think it's great! I love natural wood, and the utilitarian design.

Real wood just makes it so much better than one of those pieces from Ikea.

Super job Cindy.
