Nice looking track. It does have an ice racing look to it. My first racing experience was on ice. 500 cc studded sidecar to be exact. I was the monkey. I also raced 250 solo, and later 500 solo and open class studded sidecar as well as under 360 rubber solo. That was back in the day when we actually rode in the hack and hung out as far as we could. Now, both riders sit on the bike and the "Sidecar" is just a training wheel on the right side of the bike.

I have threatened to put a set of snowmobiles together too. I might resin cast and paint a group of four. With my track being three hours North of most of the rest of the club, I think it would be appropriate. One word on the snowmobiles. They work best on rubber tires, sliding all over the place. They won't really fit the wider wheels like tough ones, and the narrow silicons that we use in our stock class make them way too tippy. With the extra weight, they actually behave fairly well on the rubber tires.

Enjoy your new old track. I can picture some great fray races happening on it.

That really is a great looking HO track! BTW - I haven't played that game in about forever.

Thanks guys. I admit I miss the ability to have scenery but I am working on a neat addition I will share in a week or so that will help to address that part...

Oh yes, regular shoes are just fine. No need for braid. And yeah, I picked up the timing stations from ebay in Australia...it was a heck of a deal so I jumped on it.

I can see it was easier to get those for you than me... the metal parts or contact for cars it is made by some kind of metal blade look like plastic track?
