Shotgun Superbird Red, White, Blue & Gold!

I asked Dave if he would let me tune his new toy. He said ok, so today was the day.

Lowered a little. Did the usual mods like I show in the Pit Row. This one is all stock aside from tires (PG of course) and new B-Nova guide mod. Pretty smooth and I hope he approves. If not, back to the drawing board!

I think he likes the "through the fence view"

That one looks familiar, but I bet it runs much better than it did when you received it, Dave!

The Superbirds were always my favorites. Maybe its because there were more Superbirds in my town than Charger Daytonas. The Carrera model will get very low and looking good without binding anywhere and corners like its on rails. The only thing about lowering the body down to the 1:1 ride height is that you have to enlarge the dimple in the body for the exhaust. Its a great car to learn skills on, too. For a while there, I was having people over to tune Carerras every weekend. We had a ball with them. Has anyone heard anything about them making more?

We have a new Dodge coming this year and I am told there will be more.

I use a small sanding barrel and notch the body just enough to clear the exhaust.
