Started off with a chrysler color i thought looked good against the decals i had made.It ended up looking like Grandma's car.
Quick trip to the parts house for another color choice(without glasses) netted me a great shade of silver/gray metallic,ok that works!.Get back home and prep the body and shoot that puppy, only to find i had bought a hammer tone wheel paint
After cussing my stupidity for at least as long as it took the paint to dry.I stripped it back down thru two coats of paint, and one coat of primer. I am letting the body breath a little, hoping i have not ruined a beautiful Resin cast body painstakingly made by David at RMS. At this point Mr Ican build em' fast, is sitting on a great chassis that runs super and handles great, but back to square one on paint and decals. If i can rescue this,i'll be happy camper. if not I will have a Saturday night special that looks great from across the track (big track). Still some detail work to do,
