I picked the 917 too Jeremy, very nice car, along the Alan Green Pioneer Camaro. Both were late Fathers Day presents. The 917 from this year and the Alan Green from the ghost of Fathers Day past. LOL A big thank you to Brian at BRS hobbies for saving me one after all the delays. Jim

I've greatly reduced my buying habit but I had to get a pair of these Minolta Toyotas - one for the track and another for the shelf. One of my favorite liveries on the Toyota.

What did you use for your Jalopy bodies? I think I recognize the Monogram "Snap-tite" chopped '32 Deuce, but what body is that Victoria and the others?

I'd love to hear what bodies you used for your super modified jalopy fleet.

My latest slot car is a new old stock Atlas GT40. These old cars run so sweetly, I really love the Atlas chassis with the open frame motor, just the right balance of power and weight. A bit like Ninco classic but with a nostalgic edge.
This specimen will need some tweeking and running in, and the mounting posts need adjusting to get the body in the right position over the wheels.
