I'm not sure how I missed these but they are beautiful cars and at a great price. Retail is $52.99!

Yes, things are getting busy to say the least.

I was going to try one, but let us know what you think if you get the chance please.

We just got them in stock, I have not had a chance to put one on the track yet but they do look very nice. For the price point I think they are a good car.

Yes, the car was a great price...but the $399.95 shipping hurt me :)

Wasn't "Carrera" a logo owned by Porsche long before slot cars came into existence?

The name "Carrera" is used by us and Porsche and that sunglasses company. It's a word that means "race" in case you're not a spanish speaker and didn't know (and don't worry I didn't know at first years ago either)... but the logo that we use is ours. That's our logo not to be confused with:

Seems like a problem that can be easily cleared up with lawyers and money.

It also means Career as well as race. The badge on the new Carrera GT looks very much like the style of lettering as presented by Carrera slot cars. Over the years Porsche Carreras have had their badges presented in various different fonts. But I am sure the lawyers representing all parties here have already reviewed the implications.

Upon seeing the chassis design in Harry's review I doubt that I will be getting one of these as it looks very much like the good ole Fly sidewinder chassis which does not impress me at all. I had thought the series would be based on the scaleauto chassis as with the Pantera, but with cheaper running gear and motor.
