This is one fine kit and one really cool little chassis. I'm diggin it. Am going to be looking forward to doing this one as soon as some ahead of it get done. Going to be some detail work to do though. Think this new Slot.it 19.5k I've had in the box for while just found a home. With some XPG's on the back should do it right.

I need to get some bushings on the way for it. Was going to do a Maserati A6GCS after the KK Roadster but think this one just butted in line. :D

That car is gorgeous in any scale, as very few are. TJets did a great one in several colorsin HO, with and without lights, this is 1/32nd, and I have seen it in 1/24th, too.

This is one of the harder to find 1/32 cars imho (along with the Hussein). Great to see one running (soon). I will follow this with interest. The vintage 1/24 version is around, but a nice 1/32 is hard to come by.

SRQ, you sir are the proud owner of one of the finest kits , and chassis made today.
George does some fantastic models, and the Richard Mack chassis is custom made for the Bodies that George designs.
I wish he would make chassis for all of Georges cars.

I think the spare wheel thing had to do with the classes they raced in, the 917k that raced at LeMans had a spare wheel at the back

must look up the reason behind that....

The spare tire is there for endurance races. The course ( Circuit de la Sarthe) for 24 Hours of Le Mans is 8.47 mile long which over the course of 24 hours is over 3000 miles covered. Per Wiki. :)
