I remember once, I was driving into Chicago on the Eisenhower Expressway. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed something odd on my right. I looked, and accelerating down the entrance ramp was a lime green and banana yellow Superbird. We were near the exit that would take you to Mr. Norm's dealership, so obviously that is where they came from. That is the only time I can remember seeing a Superbird on the road. Mr Norm was the performance dealer for Mopar in the '60's and 70's. He sponsored several drag cars as I remember but I don't remember him being involved with any other type of racing. (SUNDAY!!! AT BEAUTIFUL US 30 DRAG STRIP… BE THERE!!!)
