Does anyone know if there's a broadcast on TV or live streaming of Sunday's Bathurst 1000?

I just watched it, dead set awesome. Young Van Gisbergen didn't have another millimetre of track left. That kid is never gonna die wondering. Talk about big brass ones.

Am I nuts, or do all of those cars look the same? Last year you could tell the difference between the Farraris, Porsches, Audis, and assorted others, but all of these cars have that same boring shape as just about every other modern car that can be found on any make's lot these days.

Do they only let the fun cars out during the 12 hour race?

I try to see it every year, and every year that downhill makes me nuts. If I ever get downunder, I'm going to Mount Panorama! Oh, and thanks Mark, I'm watching it and LSU football simultaneously, at least and long as my heart holds out!

Yeah, Mark, you're not kidding. This is some close racing! The cars all seem so evenly matched it's like the drivers have to wait for someone to make a mistake in order to pass. Between that and the elevation changes and curves on this track, it makes for some white-knuckle racing.

And no fries for Scooby today, but he's made our new living room chair his own and had plenty of bones today, so he's spoiled enough.

Yep, it's gonna be one of those days.
Race is stopped, that fancy new track surface might be really quick, but not much good if it starts falling out after 2 hours.
Should have just left it alone.
Yep grip might have been down a bit but at least it was consistent.

How fast is that Volvo !!!! I can't believe I'm even writing that !
Their first time at the mountain since '98 and it's just quick. Totally different sound to the other V8's too.

Hope they get the track sorted soon.

Took a while to get going and then bang, it was all going on.

Can't quite remember a Bathurst quite like it. But they always throw up a curve ball.

Sad thing is that it's 364 days til the next one :(

Paul Morris debuted at Bathurst in '91 (the year before Young Chas was even born) Great to see a couple of fellas pick up there 1st Bathurst wins at opposite ends of their careers.

Roll on next October I say. After 2 in a row, after a fair old drought, I reckon Ford should have second thoughts about pulling out. Even though it's the end of the line next year for the Falcon, lets hope they stay in the sport with whatever they replace it with.

Wether You bleed red or blue, (or follow one of the new interloperers) the sport will be poorer if Ford pull out.

P.S. I only had 8 beers during the race this year and was still going strong at the chequered flag, perhaps young Whincup (after running out of Juice) should take note - "He who consumes too much early will not last the distance"

That finish was insane. Hollywood cant write scripts like that. Jamie runs out of fuel coming onto conrod straight. Coasts over the line out of fuel. 1st to 5th in the space of probably 300 metres. Well done Chaz.
