(the Anglia body you have sounds like it is 1/24)
Another option you may want to explore is contacting some of the guys here on the boards that are doing resin casting. Lot of possibilities from that angle. :)

In regard to the motors - there are specific motors required for each of the classes - they are detailed out in the first posting - but for the majority of the classes it is the Piranha 21,500 Motor (available through Slot Car Corner, Cloverleaf Racing, etc) - for the slingshot dragsters and the Class A Land Speed cars - it is the H&R Lightning II 40,000 rpm motor (available through various sources)

Oh - and one other thing - I misspoke on the manufacturer of the timing system at Mark's Model World on the drag strip - it is a PortaTree Eliminator 2000 Plus system (the other four tracks have Trackmate - sorry for the confusion)

This is great!! I have done a lot of HO "proxy" racing and it's a blast. Have a couple of questions:

1: What are the addresses of the tracks we are to ship to?
2: In what order and dates are the tracks hosting?
3: Can you be more specific on the type of driver that is permitted? ( plastic or lexan painted driver card ), also do they have to be full
bodied drivers or is just a bust with head allowed?
4: Will the cars be shipped to a starting location then after the race, then shipped to the next track or will they be sent back to the owner?
5: I have yet to see a 1/32 Fiat Topolino. Is there any way a 1/25 one be allowed?
6: Are VW' bodies allowed?

there is a vintage fiat kit out there, but t`s a little pricey when they turn up. I purchased the resin copy on eBay in 2013 but that seller is no longer registered.

Fiddle diddling with motor shaft height during install...settled on a whisker below axle..got a real smooth mesh..after I make the front motor bracket I'll toss on some parts and test some maybe tomorrow.
I did run this motor some and then at 13v...hard to tell in your hand but it does wind up pretty good.
