Update #47. Bibbster gave me the go ahead to do some cosmetic surgery on his guide....after a little nip/tuck his car is Good to go, and also seems quite quick.
So here's the plan on the particulars.
Qualifying could be as early as tonight but no later than Friday evening. Cars will qualify by their race # in reverse order (12, 10, 8, etc). I will qualify the cars for 2 minutes seeking the fastest lap. I plan on running at 12v unless there is a push for 10v. My track utilizes a track call for offs. Each off has 3.5 second delay. I will record the number of offs for those interested (this is for qualifying and the race btw).
Race day: I will run the cars CW. Race heats will be 5 minutes.I will try to get it in a day or so after qualifying...tentatively I'm hoping for Saturday night or Sunday. If I don't have another driver or drivers I will race the cars myself on each lane (2 lane 75 ft Ninco track). If I have a 2nd driver, each driver will stay in their lane so every car will have the same driver in each lane. After that, if there is interest I can turn them around and race them CCW for a 2nd round, or to combine the totals (I had planned to combine the totals - but I'm open to doing it either way. If we do the CCW the drivers would switch lanes (Driver a would drive lane 1 CW and then lane 2 CCW).
