I keep sayin'... Mark makes monkeys out of everybody who is too proud of their work, me especially. Once again, Mark, just amazing work. Every little detail of an eyewitness is on that car. That's what impresses me so much. I can smell the hot metal and rubber, just looking at it. And yes, I noticed that you pulled it off so fast I was still planning and looking at your beginning body by the time you were finished, much less by the time you posted this.

Thanks guys, really glad you like it, I usually don`t reply on my own posts. But this was just so much fun to build, I couldn`t stop working on it until it was finished. This kind of series build is right up my ally with the modeling aspect. I love to make a period correct looking race car, riding high on the right side, with the look of diving into the left front. I actually heated this body under water to give it a little twist into that stance.

could you show us how you made your fuel tube, thats a nice touch

and the air breather what did you use for that?

The fuel filler is simply a small piece of 1/8" solid brass rod, with a sleeve of 3/16" soldered flush, with a small .090 solid rod for the t-handle.
The breather is 2 of my blems glued together with a screen trimmed from a coffee
