Very Cool Dave!
A couple quick questions -
1) Any chance that you or one of the other forum members might be casting bodies for this again? :)
2) Are the motor limits based off of the factory 12v ratings?
3) Are we going to keep / use the same type of numbering requirements as last time with the roof placard, etc? (I thought that was a pretty cool nod to the actual series)
4) Any limit to the number of cars that can be entered?
Looking forward to seeing AutoGrass 2 kicking off! :D

I know you guys that did this before had the fancy numbers on the cars. How did you decide who got which number? I plan to enter one car for each class, alas, no buggy, so if 44 and 45 are available those seem to be my numbers. I could use a couple of bodies as well. I have a Steve Kinder Mini truck body, but it is way too nice to cut up for this.

My buddy Koolkarz who owns Riverslide has emailed me 5 times overnight asking
" Are the cars here yet " I think he's looking forward to this proxy . Lol
I think Art from D'art will be one of the drivers, so all is in good hands.

Hmmmm... That looks familiar! :D

I guess I am not the only one that was kicking around giving their former rides another go!
I am thinking of sending my little blue bomber in for a second round as well!
(This was the VERY first proxy car I ever built!)
This time without the hard Carrera Go! rubber tires I used last time, but rather with some nice soft urethane tires - just to see how much of a difference it might make in how she runs! :)

(Shot from the last series)

That being said though, I WILL be putting together a couple fresh builds for this series - as I find building to be half the fun! :banana-dance:

Thanks again for starting this back up Dave! :D

Sorry to be slow on the uptake,Dave.

I made a few cars last time, so I wonder if I could enter this one for the unmodified Mini class:

It's "named" in honour of my eldest, who is a Pharmacist.

I'm a little disappointed that you decided against "specials" as a few years ago somebody did a gorgeous Class 9 autograss special on the international forum that I don't like very much. I'd have liked to have a go at one of those.

I don't know what timescale you have in mind, but if I can get a cheap Fiesta off e-Bay, I might have a go at an entry for the other class.

Regards,

David.

ps: still on with the sidecar.
