Yes Allan that is closer to 43rd than 32nd. Such a shame.
Even the Stutz Indiana Blower has a 103mm wheelbase, so it appears your
stinger is a tad short for sure.

Based on the wheelbase length; the 116" on the 1:1 car translates in to 3 3/16" on the model that I have, making it a 1/37 scale model....................workable, I think.

This will not be a speedster..................! It will be top-heavy, tippy and slow..........but, compared to some of the cars that it will be running against, so was the 1:1 car. So, this one will be for the hobby and not for the race (can't believe I'm saying that........you guys are having an effect on me..........I think I need a doctor............ :doh: )

Allan, I think its great that you are building this car knowing it wont be a sure fire winner. Says a lot for the builder, and the Hobby, as well as HRW. You have already won just taking on a project like this in my book.

Hey Allan;

There is one very great advantage with your Wasp being under scale, it will be even easier to find 1/32 or 1/24th wheels that would work. I'm thinking the front wheels from a 1/24 rail dragster might just be perfect. It is good to know the real dimensions of it though.

On the north side of the border I have discovered the color purple.
Actually looks good on an Indy car, now to think of the second color to go with the purple.

Just holding a ruler to it I would say about 3 1/8 inches which is about 79mm. The plan I have for the Lotus says 8' 6", which is 3.1875 so I'm close enough, and the axles are placed where they should be in the cutouts.

Thanks Keith, my Lotus says 8' 6", the paxton shows 8' and a half inch.
I suspect thats pretty close.
