I don't remember reading what voltage will the cars be running on? Also, track surface info if available. How many tracks will we run on?

The bike was relatively inexpensive (less than $10 shipped) - but yeah - I now have a motorcycle frame to add to the bone yard... :lol:

The potential to get 3-D printed wheels for this application would be GREAT!
Definitely looking forward to seeing how you make out!
(maybe the 3-D technology will lead to a couple other designs being available as well? 12 spoke American Racing, Halibrands, etc - that would be AWESOME!) :D

 Gearing: Open to builder's preference
Todd, just so we're we're all clear on this, are we wide open on any "gears" or available 1/32 scale only. As in 30t on a crown, sinse this is the max offered in this scale?
I hate to ask more questions but even though this is a fun run, it's still a competition. And there are big variables when you say builders preference on the subject of gearing.

Well The "KENTUCKY HILLBILLY" managed a 23.45 mph wheels up for about 8-10" off the line testing last night @ BULLITT DRAGWAYs 55' strip. First couple runs were not to impressive with the car popping out of the slot. After a little moving weight around, it settled down nicely, and made 8 straight passes with not even a shake.. I may do a gear change and try to squeeze 25 mph out of it as long as it remains stable.

Seen Marks 63 Ford run last night at Bullitt Speedway, like he said once it got settled down it made some very smooth and impressive passes. Very sharp looking car also. Not bad for a Kentucky boy. hillbilly
