The BARC McLaren test mule was fitted with new parts and shaken down at Kleskun Hills. The new parts improved the handling immensely and are being shipped to install on the race car for the next race.

Chassis man "Feathers Mcgraw" was pleased with the results. "We can make this car competitve and perhaps even win."

Awesome racing their.
A big shout out to the Tyrrel Team on the tuning work they did on the 6 wheeler. The first car we had to beat was the Lotus, they are fast and we did it..... Now for the Brabham and Ferrari.
Vonsirius, well done on the racing and the report. I hope you have a spare Johnson for the yellow car...

BARC/McLaren, gives a shout out to the winning team. The Parts That Feathers McGraw added to the car seem to have helped. The car stayed on the track and finished. In F1 racing progress takes time. We will see how the year progresses and where the BARC/McLaren team is at the halfway point.

We are full of optimism with this result.

To finish first you must first finish. We accomplished that today.

BARC McLaren post race comments

We will continue to push this chassis and get what we can out of it. We are off the pace of the leaders, and our goal is to close that gap. The chassis is what it is, so we need to get the most out of it. We need to get the tires working better as we have not yet found the balance we are looking for. We will fine tune and push on (true those tires with some 1000 grit sandpaper and adjust the brushes) and see if we can improve our race performance
