[Retro Racer 44]

I just got back from the post box with three boxes in hand. The first was from Chris Walker, the second from Dale Carstensen and the third was a box full of snakes from the Isle of Man. As I was unpacking the Cobras I was thinking I really must build one, as I don't have one. Well now I do. Many thanks to the Manx racers for the Cobra body gift in the box. I will post up pics when I get it built.

All seven cars passed the 9v battery test and are ready for the track. More than half of the cars have arrived and there is still a bit of time for the rest.

I walked to the box at 2 o'clock but there was nothing there, the postee hadn't come yet. I will check again on my way to Monday evening racing; it should be there. Maybe some others as well.

My entry and Russell's car were mailed today from SoCal, hopefully they will not be too late for the "quali" sessions.

I received three cars in the mail today from Bob Chapman, Steve Williams and Andy White. All were in excellent condition and passed the 9v battery test. I now have 22 cars in the bin and about a dozen still to arrive.

Thanks Dennis for letting me know. They should get here in time. We get things much faster from California than the eastern US. It's just one direct flight.
