"Looks like we let this one get away on us. The first rule in racing is you must first finish before you finish first. The car looks good and I have high hopes that we can get the front end straightened out and take the push out of the car.

The series is tough and every point earned or lost is important whether it is the first race or last. We look forward to the next race as the team is excited about the possibilities the Porsche may deliver.

Bandit Racing is pleased with the results in their first outing at Elra Park. Weir Razing, Bandit Racing Team Manager and Head Mechanic (we are a small team after all ;) ) thanked the guys for a successful weekend and then proceeded to tell them to celebrate tonight but that in the morning we need to start prepping for the next race and reminded them that it is going to be a long season.

The team extends its thanks to the Series Organizers and to Chappy for a clean race. We realize that we were lucky to get a victory over a seasoned team.

"Our thoughts are with the injured at a time like this. The important thing is that the injured get the proper care they require. We have state of the art medical equipment that can be flown in if required. Epoxy, CA,Toulene based solvents which can repair most injuries and have the injured back with their feet rapidly . Our GAGA ( Glue And Good Adhesive)team can be mobilized if required.

Bandit Racing also extends its hopes for a speedy recovery of the injured. The Bandit has accepted responsibility for the team's finish in the 2nd round stating that he feels that he drove the #310 Toureg as if he was back in the seat of his 360 Winged Dirt Sprint and has let his team down by not learning from his mistakes during the first race of the weekend.

The team plans on reviewing the TV footage of the race, how the team prepared for the race, how it responded to changes in the handling of the VW during the races, how the team communicated with each other in the pit and with the driver. The Volkswagen Group has offered technical assistance to the team which was quickly accepted and will be sending a team of advisors from Wolfsburg. Mr. Razin has express confidence that with the technical assistance from the factory and help from Baxter VW in Omaha, the Bandit Racing Team can and will learn from their mistakes and will in the next round be competitive once more.

After the nasty wreck in the pits last race, that sent the Ohio based Mini Team's test driver to the hospital - the team was a little less the normal carefree jokesters. Looking more like a real team, they focusing on keeping the mini the "surprise runner" that it has shown itself to be coming into race three! While not being able to outrun the Lancia - the team's spirit was definitely lifted by again, not only completing both races - but making the other team keep looking at the numbers and scratching their heads wondering - how the heck is this mini keeping up with our car?!? :think:
As a special treat, the team did hear from injured test driver Johnny Moon who through a quirky twist of fate was wisked off to Monaco for recovery at a special clinic that happens to sit within sight of a popular beach... He said he may have to stay there for a while doing "rehab" - but that he would somehow manage... :lol:

Team Mini is looking forward to round 4!

CJR RACING is in shock of the latest results, but hopeful that some engineers will earn their keep with the projected upgrades.

I've been out of the picture for the Solo Racing season so far because my team chose to misdirect me on a wild goose chase to get me out of their hair. I've finally caught on to this diversion and am now back and pleased as could be that we're in 3rd place. Having done this well so far we're certainly going to excel and do even better under my expert leadership. The best is yet to come!

With Kleskun Hills just finishing up a Proxy race our attention has been diverted. The results seem to reflec this fact. The BARC Porsche does not seem to be dailed in yet, as again we have suffered from ill handling. It could be weight problem. Our contacted Scottish driver "Lard Snow"is supplying us with feedback,(reluctantly it seems) and we hope to get this problem resolved before the season is lost to us. Lard( Fat) Snow was contracted last minute as the organization was focused on the Kleskun Hills race. Currently we are having some communication issues with Lard Snow, and once these are cleared up we should start to see some progress .
