SIP 2018 Final Thoughts

It was quite the variety of cars that showed up vying for a spot in the first round of the SIP and after 2 DQs for illegal mods - the judges passed the field of eight for competition and selection by the teams!

(choice is first come - first serve as posted in the thread here - just so there is no confusion ;) )

The cars, in no particular order are:

#1 - Purple 1968 Pontiac GTO convertible



#2 - White & Blue 1965 Ford Mustang



#3 - Black 1957 Studebaker Hawk



#4 - Black & White 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle



#5 - Blue 1968 Pontiac Firebird



#6 - Silver & Red 1969 Ford Torino



#7 - Green & Black 1970 Dodge Challenger



#8 - Orange & White 1971 Chevrolet Camaro

The inaugural run of the SIP ran into a bit of a snag with a little electrical gremlin Tuesday evening. A work around has been devised and the plan is to let the field stretch their legs here in the coming days! Stay tuned!

He probably figured he may as well get everybody else used to the view because that's all they will see during the race anyway! :lol: :lol: :lol:

I think the Studey is gonna backfire and let out a huge cloud of black smoke blinding everyone in the outside lanes. The Fords on the inside will jump out to a lead and then start banging heads which will allow that blue Firebird to split them and get by. Podium finished by the Firebird, Camaro, and Torino.

That's how I see it.
