I'm almost old enough to know.
My street daily '63 had history as a drag car,
but SCCA I raced against an old monster of a '65 in CGT1, roadster, what A Beast !! Well sorted, if I could have got ahold of it I would still be runnin it.

More thoughts on ff slimline motors...

Some of the cars that are eligible will be small and fitting an FC or FK motor under them can make achieving a realistic stance, let alone an interior of any depth, a difficult proposition. Using a slimline motor usually solves these issues.

Hi Corey, Yes, the 427 Cobras ran in several SCCA and USRRC events in '64 and '65.

Well, it's almost time to put up a the post that kicks this proxy off. The Can-Am cars are due tomorrow (May 1st) and the first race in that series is scheduled for May 20th.

It's been awhile, so I wanted to check back with everyone and be sure that there's still interest in this proxy. What do you all think?

Still keen for sure, depends on the car rules.
I have a Lotus 30, Chaparral 2 or '57 Vette, tuff call on which one I'll be using.
