Leading off, the Italian team has sent three entries:

A stylish Alfa Romeo - this car comes from the BeeJay7 collection, a stunning example sporting a brass chassis and a slimline motor.

Image

A beautiful Cartrix Lancia-Ferrari is next.

Image

And finally, a stunning Scalextric Maserati. The thinnest tires but fast in a straight line.

Image

Next up - France has sent two of their best to represent. First, the Renault Gordini by Cartrix.

Image

And another Cartrix - this one a Bugatti.

Team England is here with two entries. A stunning Cartrix Lotus.

Image

And a Vanwall with a PCH chassis just in case Colin's car fails to finish.

Image

Last but not least, Germany has sent a Mercedes Benz, with many parts constructed by the legendary builder mmmmoose. Sporting a slimline motor, she just might surprise you.

So, gentlemen, pick your steeds starting from the bottom of the standings and working your way up. I'll take the last car available.

Good luck. May the odds be ever in your favor.

Even though it's not D&D Motors pick yet to speed things along I want the Vanwall as my 1st pick or Alfa as my second depending on what DMS picks.

Slothead Racing chooses the Bugatti - "The Thoroughbred of automobiles".

If DMS Racing claims this first, we'll go with the Maserati - "Excellence Through Passion".

Since everyone has almost picked, how about a little education for the more challenged of the group? My experience with vintage F1's is only Scaley which I can't get to run well at all so they sit hidden in the drawer. I thought I read somewhere that Cartrix were not that good without tuning. True?

The boys from Ohio's preference is
1) Alfa (digging the cool aero skirts behind the wheels!)
2) The Lotus
Looking forward to the open wheel action!!!
